We are looking for a qualified Civil or Structural Engineer with experience in hydropower structures to carry out the structural design of a concrete M25 headpond connected to a desander outlet gate. The design needs to comply with Indian Standard codes or ACI codes and be performed using SAP 2000. The project involves stability checks either manually or via the software (SAP 2000). The headpond is part of a headworks system for an approximately 8 MW hydropower project. The work needs to be completed within 10 days from the project initiation. Deliverables include the SAP 2000 model files, and a manually sketched reinforcement drawing in provided concrete outline drawing suitable for drafting. Applicants with proven experience in similar hydropower-related structural designs will be preferred. Simple guidance might be given for structural modeling, analysis and design but the designer must have prior experience in SAP 2000 and hydropower structural design. The design work will be reviewed by experts for finalization.
