The project involves analyzing a stilling basin with a raft thickness of approximately 7m, covering an area of 21m x 21m, and vertical walls measuring 5m in thickness and 15m in height. The concrete grades are M30, with M50 for the top layers. The primary objective is to determine the optimal concreting intervals and the maximum allowable concrete lift thickness to ensure tensile stresses remain within permissible limits, preventing cracking due to heat of hydration. Candidates with experience in large-scale concrete structures and advanced thermal stress analysis are highly encouraged to bid.
